This book is a very beautiful and slick photo version of a motorcycle museum in Solvang, CA. I found it very pleasing and a great addition to my library.
This book was given to me as a gift. Even though I am not a motorcycle owner/rider, I was was immediately drawn in by the sumptuous photography. The images of these classic motorcycles are works of art unto themselves, showing off the craftsmanship and design that embody these vintage exemplars of engineering and beauty. The accompanying text engagingly tells the story of each machine and the people who made them. I would have read the whole thing cover to cover except that a motorcycle enthusiast friend of mine saw the book on my coffee table and kidnapped it for about two months. He just returned it yesterday practically raving about it. I can't wait to get back to it!
