These recipes are awesome! We have had a few of them, and they have all turned out amazing. I would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to have a cache of some really great home made ice cream recipes.
It was ok. The outside cover looks bright and inviting. The inside pages are not pleasing. No color. I would not have bought it if I had seen the inside.
My wife has been going through these recipes like crazy. They're all delicious so far. The only downside is that most of them seem to call for raw eggs and it has taken some mental gymnastics to get used to that idea.
great, just be careful, recipes are for 1 gallon. most makers are only 2 quarts!
This is a decent ice cream recipe book. Bought as a gift for our daughter-in-law to use with her new (also gift) Nostalgia Electrics ICMP400BLUE 4-Quart Electric Ice Cream Maker....which is an excellent ice cream maker by the way. The book is not a large book and is nothing fancy, but it has 58 easy to follow recipes that do seem to work.
This book has a lot of recipes but, it does not include sorbets and has very few NO COOK recipes. If you have the time to plan in advance then I suppose this will be OK. But for people that are going out on a picnic or BBQ and just want to churn out some delicious ice cream, research no cook recipes in advance. This book is filled with mostly cook recipes. The no cook vanilla was delicious but, I suppose that was because I used real vanilla and not complete due to the recipe in the book. This book is just OK.
my son made the apple pie icream and it tasted just like apple pie. He made it from chunky apple sauce and cinnamon. yum
Great recipe book, like how it explains all the facts of making good quality ice cream. Would buy from again
