Don’t be a fool do it right the first time with a Chiltons repair Manual

A must for 1st gen Toyota 4x4 owners.

This manual is outstanding and is quite detailed. While I would not call it a "shop manual", it DOES provide wonderful insight and help. I also purchased another Toyota manual from another publisher and between the two ~ I GET the job done!100% Happy!!

Product was as advertised and delivered promptly.

These guides are the best. Great price, easy delivery. Could not ask for a thing better. If you need a motor manual, this is an easy way to get one.

There is really not much to say about any technical manual. As long as it has enough information to allow one to do what is required.

They crammed too many different models into the manual, which means less space for detailed instructions and diagrams. This book is not for novices.

This book had numerous grammatical errors and numerous typing errors. It was by a person without any writing skills

If I was in the market for grilling or smoked food over charcoal this would be fine. Alas, I am not. Some of these recipes would be fine but others are out of the reach of electric smokers. Asking me to get to a temperature of 400°F+ is akin to asking me to hold those hot coals in my hand. "It ain't gonna happen!"

Woah. Mind. Blown. Every marriage should have this as required reading. My whole idea of what love looks like was turned around. Shanks speaks transparently (but not horribly graphically) about her husband's affair, and about the spiritual attacks they were both undergoing during that time. She also speaks of the victory she experienced in Christ PERSONALLY, before God ever healed her marriage. Each step of the way, she sought God's leading--"I have found that I am safe in obedience." Anyone who's been in this Christian journey for a while knows this is so true. Meanwhile, God was using her renewed love for her husband to remind her of His relentless, grace-filled love for her.Practical advice fills these pages, but it's not prescriptive and across-the-board, so Shanks doesn't presume to say everyone should respond to a broken marriage the exact same way she did--but she does believe marriage (love) is worth fighting for, even when the love doesn't seem to be there anymore.Uplifting, encouraging, grace-filled book I highly encourage everyone to read, not just those whose marriages are already in trouble. It also addresses apathy in marriage, the need to accept help from others, what forgiveness really looks like, and so many other things. This book is like a much-needed breath of fresh air for Christians struggling in their marriages. It gives hope--but the hope is in GOD, not in the wayward spouse.Thank you, Shauna, for being willing to share your experience with so many hurting believers.

I am a 71-year-old widow, and I read this book out of curiosity. I was surprised to find the sweet presence of God in its pages. The book is very personal and touching, and the author's relationship with the Lord shines through the whole story. To me, that is the most important aspect of her narrative.Through her relationship with God, she found her life becoming completely transformed a day at a time. Her life became centered on how she needed to change, rather than looking for a change in her spouse. As a result, she found the pattern of how to live a life pleasing to God, which is applicable to anyone, even if you are not married. I gained a great deal out of her experiences and her willingness to be vulnerable. She shared in depth about taking thoughts captive, controlling the tongue, dealing with emotions, forgiveness, condemnation...all pertinent to any person's life. The "Love Filter" is a golden concept.I also felt there was a lot of grace in her story. She does not take any credit for the work of God in her life, and she places no guilt trip on those who can't make their marriages work but are forced to choose divorce instead.I had a few issues with the writing: The first part of the book was belabored and full of repetitive statements. I found myself commenting about her feelings, "We get it already!"One example showing what I mean about repetition:"He began to parallel the love I had for Micah with the love he had for me..." p. 113"He began paralleling my love for Micah with his love for me..." p. 115I also found it very aggravating and confusing to try to make sense of some of her statements, because she does not capitalize personal pronouns pertaining to God.One example: "God took me back to the letter I had written Micah that evening. God asked me to reread it; this time reading it as if it had been written by him for me...."I found one misspelling: "sown" instead of "sewn." Sorry, I'm a former teacher. :)

I have been going through a situation with many similarities (and many differences) but enough to know and understand and feel what Shauna has been able to so clearly summarize and express for us. I found this book at the beginning of my situation but did not buy it then. I even think God's timing and hand was in that decision - In that vulnerable early stage I may have been tempted to, too closely, try what worked for this author, without following hard after God for myself.And I would say that this is the key thing in any situation where the answer can't necessarily be found in the plain black and white of the bible: seek God for specific guidance on what to pray, what to hope for, what He wants you to do. He is the God who knows the hearts of every person in detail, and who sits in Eternity knowing and seeing all. He will not lead you wrong.

This book has been incredibly insightful. It feels like a very similar experience to my own....except the very opposite. I'm the one who was unfaithful to my husband. I'm a Christian...he's an unbeliever. I struggle everyday to be obedient to God and this book has given me a bigger push to do so than all the other things I've read. Thank you so much.

My 7 year old turning 8 in March grandson is going to start this series this Christmas! He loves to read! His mom recommended it!

My son is 7 years old and in first grade. He's just learing to read and he loves Flat stanley. It's too hard for him to really read on his own yet but he loves when I read it to him. Also it helps him get more excited about reading and he does read parts of it to me and it makes him want to try, which is great. I highly recommend the Flat Stanley series.

My 5-year old loves Flat Stanley. He's been reading on his own for awhile now & I've been struggling to find books that are not too long and not too short. They are a good step into chapter books. Plus the stories are really silly. My son loves that he gets sent to places around the world in envelopes!

I used this book to introduce Flat Stanley to my classroom.

We love Flat Stanley books! Plus, our children get to do the Flat Stanley project when they get to 3rd grade, in which they trace themselves and mail themselves to that kind relative who lives far enough away to be exciting, like the places Flat Stanley has visited. Imaginative and educational and geographically orienting books!

We have all of the Flat Stanley books. My three boys, ages 6-12, all love them. Highly recommend! Creative stories and imaginative fun. Also teaches a bit of history and geography as you read. But nothing heavy or school-ish. Very enjoyable.

My 8 year old loves this book, as well as the series!

I have always been fascinated by people who blackjack for a living and this book is definitely at the top. The plot is basically how two non players begin as novices and progress to proffesionals. It is not an instruction book directly but the card counting, practicing, and special exception rules (think they called in indexes) are part of the story and if you have studied counting you will know what they are talking about. This book left me with an impression of the discipline necessary to become a pro, some of those books where after learning to count cards and almost "magically" win have left me bored. The writing style is easy and it feels like you are right next to the author, so yes , pick it up.

Other than the beginning of the book which was elementary stuff, the rest of book is quite exciting and insightful. This probably the best blackjack memoir that I have read

The words the author attributes to Semyon Dukach in the acknowledgements are true of the author as well. He "creates clarity in the lives of others by articulating the simplicity in seemingly complex situations". The book inspires and educates.

This is a great book. I could not put it down. The author goes into great detail about his preparations and how he approaches the game. Card counting was only a part of it.He shares his ups and downs. Losses and wins. If fact he pretty much discourages going to the Casino and playing BJ unless you know basic strategy perfectly and then can count cards and then have memorized the 300 index plays then play in such a way that you appear amateurish so you don't get barred.

This was a great read. No, you do not learn how to count cards by reading this book. But the reader gets wonderful insights into the world of the advantage player. If you want to learn HOW to count, there are other books that offer that aspect of blackjack. But read this book if you want knowledge about the life of a serious advantage player.

Well written by a bright hardworking guy. Looks like BJ is no magic bullet - basic strategy mastery is just the starting point -- but for the few who do the work (lots of it, explained in generous detail) and can act under pressure, seems you could pretty darn well.

As an aspiring AP it's exciting to read the exploits of a 2 man team.This book won't teach you how to count, but it definitely gives you ways to up your game if you are ready.

Wow, this book is amazing, really something special. It feels to me almost as if the tale of Peter Pan was always meant to be this story, all along, as if this always lay at the core of it. You know, there's a thing people say sometimes about sculpting, that the sculpture is already there, the sculptor simply reveals it. That's sort of how this feels to me. The author does a wonderful job of capturing a sense of the original, then slowly, masterfully peeling away the layers until the real story is revealed.I loved the emotional & psychological underpinning, and it all fit perfectly, felt completely organic.Also, there's an undeniable resemblance between Peter Pan and Lord of the Flies, LotF being like the dark side of PP, and this story captures some of that as well, but it also contains a spirit of hope, of compassion, it's conclusions aren't that "we are really monsters" but "we are really human".Just, tremendously moving, romantic, funny, deliciously sexy, life and love affirming. And the ending is perfect.I'd give this several more stars if I could.

I never really cared about Peter Pan. I was never into neither pirates nor Indians. I always found Peter too reckless, and Wendy way too annoying. And I would have happily smashed Disney version of Tinker Bell. And of course, if not for K.J. Charles review I would never have chosen to read Peter Pan re-telling on my own. I’m so glad I did.Thirst of the idea of Pete actually being Wendy is not just revolutionary, it’s absolutely perfect. It puts everything into its right place, gives the story such a realistic, clear perspective.The novel itself, set 10 years after Peter went back to real world to try to become Wendy, is amazing. First of all it never loses the magical, childishly joyful atmosphere. Secondly it manages to stay light and funny, even when it deals with real serious issues. And the joyful spirit of Neverland doesn’t robe those issues of their depth or voice. It speaks beautifully about the importance of not losing your true self to the heartless demands of others.I hardly can say what the best part was: seeing Neverland through Grown Peter eyes, learning about secret purpose of this world or watch Peter accepting himself and finding his place in real world. The other brilliant thing about the book is Hook and the truth about the war between the two.The Romance is another thing that, I think, always was there. Austin Chant tells this story in such a genteel, touching, beautiful way. It was one of the best love stories I read in recent time. I loved both Hook’s re-discovery of love and Peter’s sexual and emotional awakening.But the most precious moral of the story is their mutual realization that true love requires their acceptance of real world. I think James’s letter and him waiting for Peter in the frozen boat are among the most romantic instances I ever read. And the epilogue was so sweet, I almost cried from happiness. I totally can envision them living happily ever after in this little cottage painting and writing stories.Last point – I loved the fairies as little fling monstrosities!

Oh wow. I loved this so much! Wonderfully written with, quite frankly, a beautiful story. I wasn't really sure what to expect when I began this and I was pretty blown away by how much heart was in this story. I laughed at Pan and Hook's back and forth, and cried at Peter's memories. I absolutely LOVED the ending! As soon as I started reading I couldn't put it down! I highly recommend this to anyone and everyone.

I did not realize what a tearjerker this book was going to be. This is a most wonderful book, don't get me wrong. But violent. And I may also have a childhood attachment to a character that has an unfortunate end. I realize what happens in the original works of Peter Pan by J.M. Barrie, but I liked living in denial where certain events in An Afterthought do not happen. What can I say?Peter Darling is wonderfully enchanting and marvelously devastating. I really do love Peter Pan retellings, and this might be one of my favorites and will possibly have ruined all other Peter Pan retellings for me. Peter is trans. He once left Neverland to live with his family as Wendy Darling. But he cannot run from who he is and returns once again to Neverland, older and no longer quite the little boy Captain Hook and the Lost Boys once knew.Like I mentioned before, this book is violent. The fights between the Lost Boys and Captain Hook and his crew starts again with Peter back in Neverland, but the fights are dangerous. And people die. This story is complex and can show how easily Neverland can be a place of dreams to one of nightmares.This isn't a very long book, but it packs in a story that is equal parts fluff and heartbreak. Captain Hook is a delight. He is not really what I expected, if I expected anything at all. He just wants to be sailing the seas with his crew, even though he is getting a bit bored. When Peter comes back and livens things up again, we can see the small moments that bring Hook and Peter closer and closer together.I love when love interests are forced to brave being in close proximately together while hating-but-not-really-hating each other's guts. It's fun to see these two interact. Peter is no longer a boy, but a man, and Hook is finding himself growing more and more attracted to Peter.One thing I did like about this book is that there's no big ~reveal that Peter is trans to Hook. There's a moment, I think, where Hook realizes, but it's a nonissue and we don't have to see Hook making any proclamation of sorts of who Peter is. This story, the ending especially, is sweet and I loved it.Everything about this story is well written and I highly recommend this to anyone who loves a Peter Pan retelling. As I understand it, there's supposed to be a sequel in the works? I look forward to reading it! Austin Chant is actually a new-to-me author and I will most definitely have to check out his other books as well.
