These are great! I'm General Practitioner and I'm always looking for good easy to digest material that can keep me up to date and refreshed on general medicine topics. Board review books are great, but often cumbersome to lug around. I try to take a small stack of these in my bag and will look at them throughout the day. There are about 3 cards for each topic, which at first I was a little disappointments by because I thought there would be one case per card. There is a case and then about 3 cards describing the general workup for that case. So really the whole deck kind of reads like a medical review book. The format however is great. The way lab workups and treatments are described is very in-depth. If it it was just one card per condition It would not be able to cover this amount of material. Indeed as the description suggests these would be great for not only med students and residents, but also practicing providers and house officers to stay fresh.
Very in depth, challenging questions with lots of distractors/comorbidities
The concept is great but a few of the MDT that I'm studying isn't among those in this book. Example; I didn't find anything on headaches for one.
Loved them, currently using them for review of my third year material and the USMLE 2CK
3 flash cards are missing. AKI 50CD, 50EF and HIV/AIDS 77CD, 77EF. Why sell something when it hasn't been checked, let alone organized.
